Friday was Native American day in our class. We had a great time at the Museum of Man presentation brought to us by Wake Forest. Our students learned all about long houses, hunting, played instruments, and even reenacted a Native American story.

After our presentation, we continued Native American day by making beads with our curriculum chums, Mr. Kremidas' 3rd grade class. We meet with their class every Friday and each third grader has a kindergarten chum that they partner with. It's become one of the highlights of the week for both of our classes.
Everyone did a great job wearing their green shirts on Friday. We all matched and so we will close this blog with the class picture we took.
Thanks for sharing - I've beenwondering who William's "chum" was - now I know!
